According to the game, I currently have the quickest time of all the Lagoon players in the world on B14. But I don't have the Author Medal for some reason. I've tried to improve my current time, but it seems pretty much impossible to drive the track any quicker. Is this a bug? Was the Author really totally flawless when running the track? Is there some kind of cut or alternate route I don't know about?

This was already reported during the beta and will be fixed:

It is actually possible to beat it but it requires certain speed boosts on the rollercoasters which are random.

Random speed boosts on rollercoasters? I DID notice my previous best time appearing to randomly shoot ahead on occasion, even if I was taking the exact same race line. This sounds like it would create an awful lot of competitive distortion for no good reason. I hope it gets fixed.

What is the time of this author medal?

I don't know, unfortunately. Is there a way to find out?

it is arund 26.45. i got a 26.46 and still got gold. but i saw a streamer with .44 doing author.
