MP4 dedicated server files

we used to have to download a full archive. but right now, if I understood well, I should download the last maniaplanet 3, and then apply the two mp4 upgrade ? (and then convert the map I want to play ?)
also, the apt sources are not up to date. all the server tutorials point to the latest mp3 server.

You have to download the dedicated server files. Then download the packs you want to run your server on and put it in UserData/Packs/ folder.
You have to convert the maps by opening them in MP4 editor and saving/recomputing shadows. Or using command batch to do all maps at once.

Thank you for you reply, I took the first mp4 release, and then I added the update, at worst, I suppose I have the server.
ignore my original message, I didn't have siege because I'm reconfiguring everything from a new directory.
for now I have this rather cryptic message :

...ERROR: Script not allowed for this title.
...Could not load the match settings
and trying to make it work ^^
