I watched the official teaser again and at 1.11 they are talking about one "match making system" for all three games. So what can this be? A function similar to battlefield heroes, where there isn't a server view and you can only click "play" and the game searches for a suitable server for you.
Or does this only means that in all games you have a dedicted server and you can choose the server you want?

It might be that racers can find suitable servers for there lp as rpg can find quests for the corresponding lvls.

Pay good attention to the pictures in the video. And listen very carefully what the persona says.

So this can be more of a "rank-based" type deal, and I could find racers in my skill level to race against? Sounds cool, but I already think of one flaw in that. What happens if I'm actually a very good racer, but don't have the time or the desire to get on much and constantly be racking up ladder points? If this system is automatic, or semi-automatic, that would stick me in a race with lower-ranked racers in terms of actual skill, and that would get boring very quickly, both for me, and for them, because no one likes to see one guy win all the time. Well, at least I don't.

In the E3 preview we got a confirmation about the match making system.

So we will get again a ranking based system, maybe something like different server levels as it is now. Or it could be something like the official mode in TMS, where you are able to select if you want to go official against players on your level or on a higher level. I'm really curious about this

didn't he say in this interview that you can choose whether you want to race against someone on your level or someone who's better than yourself? At least I understood it in that way!

Don't know it either. But at least this confirms that there will be an online ladder. Hope there will be more news about this monday. But i doubt it -_-
