I always could run maniaplanet twice , to convert maps (.exe file ) and to play the game ( launcher ).

Sinds the big update this does not work for me anymore.

So , is it not possible anymore to run multiple maniaplanets at the same time ?

I just tried this: Had MP open, playing a local map, saving a Replay, editing Replay ....... found another map file, left-click, 'Open With' Maniaplanet, played that map while the first window is used to render a video.

So, works for me.
BUT!!! I cannot open a second MP window from the Windows Menu or the .exe shortcut ... or the actual .exe.

Cheers

1. Launch ManiaPlanet.exe, not the launcher.
or
2. Remove Openplanet until you don't need to launch second instance anymore.
