Problems with codecs for shooting replays

So when i try to shoot a replay as an avi file, the only codec that shows up is the standard no-compression. This codec splits the video up into small 1-2 second videos, which makes it pretty useless. I installed different codecs'es on my pc, but they don't show up in that window. Any idea what i'm doing wrong
