Issues with starting script Ubuntu

Hello, I've recently installed ManiaControl into a subfolder of my main server directory.
When I try to run the ManiaControl.sh script, it doesn't seem like anything happens.

I was also wondering where I have to place my dedimania key in order to get dedi records to my server.

1. You blanked out your XmlRpc hostname and 4-letter SuperAdmin password. It's asking for trouble. Pick a more secure password :P

2. What's the output of ./ManiaControl.sh then?

Yeah, I should indeed. Just trying to get stuff to work first :P

2. It gives me nothing, just executes the command with no feedback.

  • Installed mysqli
  • Installed php GD
  • Switched IP to localhost instead of 127.0.0.1
  • I now use UASECO instead
Couldn't really find much information anywhere, but it's now working. Although I'm not able to give myself admin access, but that's for another forum :P

Decided to use ManiaControl instead. Resolved the issue, turned out php-curl wasn't installed. I advice to add a better logging system/feedback once the shell script has been run. The shell script doesn't return any information, but after running "php ManiaControl.php" it gave me the error. A good idea would also be to add a note in the installation guide to run the php script first to check that everything is working correctly and then afterwards run the shell script, if no feedback is being added to the shell script. Other than that I would say that the controller works great, could use a design update when it comes to the local records and dedimania list but that's just some "krimskrams" (swedish/norwegian).
