ManiaPlanet 3 Storm script crashes without error

I'm using ManiaPlanet3 to play with friends because I hate how speed tracks in MP4 mess with your aim.
Anyway the one issue I have with MP3 is that when I'm using the Storm station to host a game of Battle or Realm, I click on script and select the appropriate game mode, select the maps, then when I click start the game immediately crashes with no error (like the game just disappears). How can I solve this? Without using MP4 (MP4 has no problem here but I don't like using MP4)
