[TM2S, Dec. 17] Missing Textures at 4-1-1/.../11

Similar Bug to this one: viewtopic.php?f=470&t=43138

Placing a wall (2) above another wall (1) will remove the top facing texture of (1) and the bottom texture of (2). The rotation doesn't matter, it can even be rotated 180° so the models don't even touch each other.

Examples:
90° Rotated with 4-1-1 and 4-1-3

90° Rotated with 4-1-2 and 4-1-3

180° Rotated with 4-1-3/.../11 and 4-1-3

Affected blocks:
  • 4-1-1
  • 4-1-2
  • 4-1-3
  • 4-1-4
  • 4-1-5
  • 4-1-6
  • 4-1-7
  • 4-1-8
  • 4-1-9
  • 4-1-10
  • 4-1-11

just not enough rules in that algorythm

it makes sense, it is like this on purpose, nadeo made that for a reason , but as i said, not enough rules
some more rules should avoid this

that thing was made for removing faces between blocks, like if 2 block are on each other the middle face's gets removed
but for wallride platforms there is no rule for rotation yet xd

set some platformblocks next to each other, make a tower or a mega cube and go cam7 in it there you see what i mean

I know that, that's obvious. But I don't remember this being a problem in MP3.
This post isn't about the removed textures when the blocks are placed directly on each other. It's just about that issue that they are also removed when they are rotated like that.

The problem is: Nadeo can't hide parts/faces of a block, so the need an own variant for each block (one block can easily get like 10 variants)
At least that's what I see in TMUF and stadium blocks barely changed

What? .. The solution just would be to NOT hide the faces in this case, I guess.
Or would there be any problem that I don't see?

No, just my thoughts about how they could fix it

Then you would have to do a new block variant for nearly every possible Blockcombination...
Whatever. This is just a report, not a discussion. They will know how to fix it.
