So I bought TM2 Lagoon on Steam today but my maniaplanet client was set to the wrong account, which I logged in accidentally. Is there any way I could transfer the key that activated on that account to my main account? I'd rather play on my main account since I already have all the other titles on that.

As far as I know this is not possible. Keys registered to one account are fix.
You could try to contact the Ubisoft support. Good luck!
