Hello all.

This is a Petition to remove the "Open the sunday from 15 GMT to 18 GMT" time restraint from 100K servers.
As a counter rule i would say 120K server deposit.

3 to 6 might be good for EU racers but for rest of world it kinda sucks.
Even for me as a Dutchie 3 to 6 Sunday afternoon is not a good time to race.

Well, this 100k rule is still alive since 2008 with TM Nations/United Forever. Maybe Nadeo can change the rule somewhen in the 100k rule which Shootmania has right now. Race of Champions is almost dead (for TM1), TM² I don't know.^^
Maybe somewhen Nadeo redesign their Laddersystem with their echolon project

Removing the restriction entirely will just make the every player get stuck at 100k like most people are now at 90k; it doesn't really work. Maybe it could work if it's more often, but don't just outright remove it, because that won't work.

they won't stuck, because a 100k server is like "unlimited", you can gain more than 100k and on monday your points will be down calculated but you still keep your rank at all.
If people play roc on Sunday, people with 100k can reach up to 102k ladder. In shootmania, you can always play on a 100k server (Battle, Siege, Royal, Elite,...) and there is no time restriction.

Then why change it at all? It's essentially the same thing now, except the barrier is at 90k.

I am a little bit confused now. The creator of this topic asked if it's possible to change the rule for 100k server in TM because the timing when roc starts is pretty unlucky for almost everyone who does not have the timezome from eu/africa?^^

So my suggestion was, "do it like in shootmania" ?^^ Shootmania 100k Ladder has no time restrictions, so why not for TM² ?^^

And for the moment, we don't have really an online ranking, so whatever^^

Well the question was to "remove the time constraint", which in its essence won't work, as it will become the exact same as a 90k rounds server - people won't be playing for points or to win, they'll be playing for their PB's

well because for most of the world Sunday afternoon only doesn't work.
Only the die hard euro racer is in it.
true europe has the most players.

but here's the other side why should only sunday racers be able to gain 100k..
there's a lot older players out there with kids and families and for those sunday after noon is family time. (not racing a game)

so maybe a 200K deposit server and only 70 to 100K players and expand the time.. or do time zones...

well sure true.. but now only a select few get to do that.
But in reality most players just leave my server cos it to hard.
So not every body!. And yeah make the top 100 Players work alot harder. for them it just well i just play sunday afternoon and stay up there. !

I play every day and it kinda frustrating i can't climb any further. (i don;t expect to be top 10 over night ) but even just micro points will keep it going... even if it just to show well i play a lot more as you "top" driver.

futher more there is no fame to be gained.. ie .. you wanne be world best driver.. weill join CUP races or Events that actually pay out real money.
but with the 3 to 6 pm EU time it;s like well only you folks can reach 100K because you are be able to race at 3 to 6 pm EU time.

to most top racers i played with their LP doens't mean squad.... they drive for the world or PB at one particular server anyway . (and Dedi)
One of my frequent visitors at my serve went from being 12th World Rank to ...... just because he had a Job at sunday.

Oh don't get me wrong, I understood the problem! I just think the proposed solution is not a solution.

A better solution would be to have multiple ROC's for different timezones. One for Europeans during mid-day and one for the other side of the world.

As for not being able to progress in 90k-100k, I'd blame this on the fact that the player count is dropping (especially in Canyon).
