When my car in Canyon slides, I barely hear something. How can I increase volume of this sound?

It is not possible currently to modify the volume of specific sounds. Try to turn up the "sound" volume if you haven't done it yet; Music and Sound are two different volumes

Engine is too loud so I don't hear slides at all! And engine is the same channel as slides.
That happens after some game update (long time ago - viewtopic.php?f=470&t=44314)

Is there any file that shlould be modified to increase slides volume? Somewhere in skin?

You could use a custom engine sound with your skin and make the level of this lower in the files, e. g. by 50%.

Then the remaining sound effects will be relatively louder, including the slides sounds. I think those are hidden in core files, hence not moddable.

The best would be individual sound volume setting.
If not with dedicated volume sliders in the game, then at least as volume value or as relative volume percentage in the audio settings of the launcher.
Btw. something similar would be great for skidmarks visibility, namely intensity and duration.

Unfortunatelly, game increases volume itself and slides are at the same level (inaudible).

That's what I'm talking about.
I decrease volme to 20% and game automatically normalize sound and raises volume.
None of engine sound seems to be related to slides.

Ah ok, that's unfortunate.

Sad that nobody who knows how it works (from Nadeo team maybe) reads this. Any good advice from someone who knows a little more than user (for example - is it a bug in game or it's some kind of "improvement") will be nice.

Anyway, slides sound was very good before update (don't know which one). Now is harder to play.
