I can't open maniaplanet because as soon as I try this message appears and close the game.
C:\Program Files\ManiaPlanet\DINPUT8.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Remove that file from your ManiaPlanet folder. It’s a file from Openplanet’s old 32 but build. Probably.

Do you have a 64 bit OS or 32 bit?

Sidenote, updating Openplanet also works if your OS is 64 bit.
