I'm not sure if this is global, or some weird local problem, but ever since the update, whenever I view a replay (a newly-saved one, or an old one), I don't see any custom cams. I only see the default cam.

When I load them into the editor, the custom cam tracks don't show up there either (even for saved replays that include custom cams and haven't been touched).

This happens with all game packs/vehicles/environments, and includes custom cams from previously existing tracks, and custom cams from newly-created tracks. I can edit them and view them in the map editor, but otherwise they don't function.

Can confirm, the replay editor in general is quite buggy after the last update - even though it wasn't even touched according to the changelog. Even standard cam2 chase cam isn't available anymore

Thanks for that. It's such a feeling of relief to get confirmation that it's someone else's problem and not something I did.

Can you give me some more details about the issue, such as what operations you're doing, and what occurs vs what you would expect ? (maybe sending me a failing replay might help as well )

It wouldn't really help for me to send you a replay, because the issue is the same with all replays. Old replays, newly created replays...they all exhibit the same behavior:

1) If I open up any specific map in the editor and enter the media tracker and go to the "End Race" section, I see all the custom cams.

Example (this is from my track "sinuous", released and uploaded to TMX 7 years ago):



The replay MT for the track contains seven custom cam tracks, as shown above. If I validate the track, save the replay, and open that replay in the either the advanced or the basic replay editor, it shows no custom replay cams at all, only the single default cam track:



If I open up an older, pre-existing replay (in this case Kerebatem's replay from 2012), it also just shows the default cam, even though the custom cams exist, hidden, within the replay (and worked properly at the time):



If I choose to "View" a replay instead of opening it in the editor, it acts as you would expect from the editor display--just the default cam. Custom cams are ignored.

Interesting Note: If I validate the track, finish it, and do nothing on the screen that offers "Improve", "Choose Opponent", "Save Replay", or "Back To Menu"--if I JUST wait--then the proper replay will play at that time, including all the custom cams! As far as I can tell, that's the only time (right after a validation when the player only waits) that custom cams still work properly for me.

I've tried this on various environments and custom packs, and it doesn't make any difference. Even if I create a brand new test map and add a custom cam to it, I get the same behavior. Custom cams just get ignored by my game (except for the one case detailed above).

Replays created in tracks with custom cameras will now load them properly The issue was due to the clip trigger blocks not being properly detected.

Edit: I'm still seeing the same behavior after a Steam update (ManiaPlanet 2018-11-20_17_21), so I assume this fix hasn't been pushed yet? Is there any sort of ETA re: when we should see this fix in an update?

I'm not sure all the issues related to this have been fixed yet. If i remember correctly, before, when the race cam in the mediatracker was set to "default" there would be some camera changes in the loops & cie to be in cam2 while the rest is in cam1. Now the ghost (for a GPS for instance) is shown in cam1 only during all the track.
