I solved MY crash-problems with AMD drivers

Hi
I had some bad problems with MP4 update :

- blackscreens during mapchange in servers
- chrashes when I opened a map in editor

I saw posts here with same problems - and all logfiles I read, show problems with AMD-grafic. (a conflict in 32/64-structure ?)

I had the latest AMD-certified drivers and Catalyst installed - and deleted all AMD-grafic-files via WIN10 device-manager

- WIN+R / write "devmgmt.msc" (without " ) Enter
- select "graficcard" / drivers / DEINSTALL / Enter

then I rebooted my PC - and Windows selected the best driver for me :-)

now I use AMD-driver from 2017 (vers. 22.19.677.257)

and IT WORKS FINE - no more problems - no crashes !
Sorry for my rotten english - but maybe that helps others too...

I might try that. But I have two graphic card, amd one and Intel(R) HD Graphics Family. Which one should I uninstal? And What should I do after reboot - install one that I just uninstaled via device manager?

@ CatWithScarf:
I'm a noob in this technical gimmicks .... but it looks like the problem is only with AMD cards, so IF you delete a driver, than the AMD grafic driver.

I de-installed the "grafic-card" in the device manager. After this, there is no more graficcard in the list - so I selected "search for new hardware" and the dev-manager selected the right card - and installed the 22.19.677.257-version of AMD. I rebooted PC and than I checked the devicemanager again, graficcard was visible with the choosen driver. After that I started TM, went to the next-best Canyon-server and waited for the crash or blackscreen - but nothing bad happened. I checked other servers, opened some maps, I'm working on - all without crash.

@ HaagseSmurf : I dont like or use any program to check/delete drivers.

I have an AMD Graficcard AND an AMD CPU- and some of those "delete old drivers"-programs may delete even drivers that are used by AMD CPU.
I made bad experience with that - so I dont use them. :-)

And I had the problems with latest AMD-drivers. So I dont want to re-install the same....

I'm just happy that everything works fine again
:-)
