[Bug] Illumination in sunset mood with mods

I tried something very simple, which is a simple Stadium mod with only an Airship picture inside the Image folder. Nothing else. In Sunset mood, this removes the illumination of half of the blocks on the map, including the grid on the side of the road, the glass on the office blocks, and the spots in the indoor stadium. The map is then much darker than the same map without mod, and in most cases just undriveable. Screenshots below.

This is very frustrating, and I believe this is a bug and not a feature. Like, I only asked the mod to change only one airship, so why would it change the illumination ? It would be very appreciated if this could be fixed at some point ;)

Yes, this lighting problem is a bug that only occurs in the "Sunset" mood and when using a mod.

It is possible that while eliminating this problem, in the mood Sunset too many lights were switched off. It is also possible that the problem existed before.
In Sunset mood, this removes the illumination of half of the blocks on the map, including the grid on the side of the road, the glass on the office blocks, and the spots in the indoor stadium.
In addition, the headlights of a custom vehicle are not turned on.


BTW: The checkpoint lamps are also not switched on. Please note that the lamps of the offroad checkpoint (1-2-8) are always on. Also in Sunrise and Day and without using a Mod. This is another independent bug...

I think I found the issue. Taking the MoodSetting.xml file from here viewtopic.php?t=27372 and adjusting the DayTime01 property to 0.75 (second line) activates the lighting (the default value of 0.73 seems to be too early).

Yes, I can confirm that. The threshold for switching on the lights is somewhere between 0.7386 and 0.7387.

In my opinion this is a serious bug and should finally be fixed.
