Happy 10 year anniversary to all QuestManiacs!!! :3

It was 10 years ago, on February 10, 2009, when we first learned of this awesome game that I'm sure we will someday get to play! :pop:

For most of us, it was just like any other day. We went to play some TrackMania United Forever, opened up the game, joined a server... and then suddenly the loadscreen between maps was different. What is this about QuestMania!? The RPG by Nadeo!? Intriguing!

I feel like the fact this forum still exists is proof in itself that Nadeo hasn't given up on the concept of QuestMania.

But until that day comes when we can play it... I'll just keep learning to use tools like Mesh Modeler. Who knows, maybe that knowledge will come in handy someday when I'm making my own blocks in QuestMania!

This made my day. I laughed so hard that my desk got damaged a little.

Better birthday party than the 5th SM anniversary! (there was none)

And to be honest, I decided to make it in summer 2005 and wish to do it since more than 20 years. I am just really, really, really taking my time to be ready :thx: It should be the last game I would work on, forever.

MANIA
TRACK
NADEO
QUEST
SHOOT

NADEO
QUEST
SHOOT

Here you can see it better 8-)

Nadeo is the cross for Hylis. It is his life, his work, his passion. :)

Questmania would be the logical consequence of both Trackmania and Shootmania.

Let's see...

Hey, thanks for the reminder eyebo !

I went digging through my boxes and sure enough, I still have my free Select Distribution Preview Pack for Win 7. The box, with that really nice blue sky cover, still has the seal wrap and includes:

* Installation CD (Demo),
* Region 2 DVD with all the pre-viz cut scenes,
* Hard copy of the User Manual (with Quest Key), and
* The blue disk with the first level Demo Ma.../ Trac.../ maz... env... --- oops, better not tell - don't want to give anything away.

Oh and I also found that sweet Greeting Card from Florent. That was a nice touch!

I wonder if the French postage stamps on the parcel are worth anything now...
Anyway, Happy Anniversary fellow Questors!

Cheers .... :pil

I've thought for some time that the Item Editor could be a sign that QM is getting closer.
I mean, how can you do a Quest game without custom items...
What's next?
Creature Creator?
Ability to link multiple maps into "Worlds"
I would think QM would certainly be a much more extensive and immersive creation kit than what we currently have.
I cross my fingers and try to keep my excitement contained.
