Hello everyone!

This is my first post here, nice to meet you.

I have this microstuttering problem on TrackMania 2 Stadium, the game runs fine but every now and then it stutters for a fraction of a second, then it runs perfectly again.

I tried to turn on/off v-sync, lower the graphic settings, avoid steam, uninstall and reinstall the game.

All of the solutions above were unsuccesful.

Pretty frustrating to say the least.

Someone has a fix?

Is the stuttering happening often?
Does it happen on online multiplayer only, or also on solo play?
Can you make out a period, like every 5s?
Or is the game working fine for some time before the stuttering starts?

Always.
Single and Multi.
Totally random.
Whenever the game starts, the stutter starts too. The menu is fine.

Ctrl+F7 and Ctrl+F11 could give you some more information about what's happening. You'll need to know how to use those tools though. Try playing around with Ctrl+F7 in particular, you can click some of the bars to "freeze" them and see what's taking up the most time in a frame.

My best guess to what your problem is is that you're running something in the background that's taking up too many resources or something.

Make sure that your video driver is setup properly to recognize Maniaplanet as game, and let the driver use full power for the game.

The stuttering might come from auto-throtteling of the cpu and of the gpu.

Okay so i noticed something.

The bars that spike show this
Also when a spike occurs, the msCPU goes up by 2 point (es. 7.5 to 9.5)

Open your video driver configuration, and look for the place where games can be configured.
