Huge FPS Drop Problems

Hello,
recently I bought myself a GPU upgrade which was necessary for other games I played. So I bought myself a RX580 Nitro+ and I installed all drivers as usual etc. I tried my GPU in games I normally played and was amazed how much more fps I got and yeah then all of a sudden a game came across called "TrackMania" which i had no problems even playing on a old crappy laptop. Wondering if its because it's a failure by AMD or a driver problem or idk? Or is it just a poor programming bug. All thread I saw on this forum or on google didn't help me out. Don't tell me to put all graphics on low I've done that already...

Just to confirm, when you say "TrackMania", you mean TrackMania 2, right? Not United/Nations/whatever?

i assume your graphic card is not recognized by the game (and it therefore uses built in intel gpu). check if the settings are correct in the launcher. usually latest after benching the graphic card should be recognized.

My GPU has a memory of 8GB and the game only gets 3

With low settings I get around 100-120 FPS max and often it drops down to 30-60. This shouldn't be possible if the game gets my system correctly. Honestly I don't know what to do from this point on

Can you try the logs build of the game? Link:
http://files.v04.maniaplanet.com/setups ... etLogs.zip
Just put the exe in your game folder and start that exe instead of starting the game normally. This will produce some logs, somewhere in "C:\Users\Username\Documents\ManiaPlanet". This will give a bit more of an insight into what's happening.

Was Trackmania installed and running already on the same PC before the new video card?
You might need to delete a file in your documents: Default.SystemConfig.Gbx
Sometimes it happens that settings in that file get corrupted.

Could be the shader cache as well! The launcher has a clear cache option. Could be worth a try.
