[BUG] mania planet crashes when connecting

Hey there,
didnt start maniaplanett for some weeks, got a new monitor (3840x2160) and wanted to check how maniaplanet does, with my old gtx660 and a lot of resolution, since its allways been veeery good in performance, besides that trackmania is the no1 game i tend to play, if i do play, especially inbetween work ;)

well so as usual i downloaded the update coming in, so its the newest version and so i cant say if the crash is about the new hardware, but i really dont think so! it crashes with any resolution set and doesnt matter if windowed of fullscreen.

the crash DOES happen after i press connecting but DOES NOT when clicking offline. but offline im not albe to start any game, maniaplanet then asks me to connect to a maniaplanetserver in order for some activation.
after i click connecting first comes connecting, then pleas wait, then some loading, then please wait, then clouds it lags a bit and then hangs with just clouds. any help pretty much appreciated!

its a windows 7 pro 64, no other hardware than die monitor changed afaik. i changed the default font scaling though.
the permission in windowsfirewall does exist. if i stop kaspersky it doesnt help anyways.
theres no crashlog or so to be found in any mp-directories.

Try deleting your profile and re-logging into your ManiaPlanet account. I think you can delete it from within the game's login screen.

By the way, you should stop using Windows 7 within the next 194 days, since that's when Microsoft drops support entirely for Windows 7. (January 14, 2020)

hey, thanx - but naturally i want to keep my profile and settings and stuff...
i tried and deleted the profile.gbx anyway of course but after a synchronizing-profile-message mp hung at the same point. still no chrasdump.

i tried to (re)move lots of cache-dirs yesterday befor posting my initial post, nothing helped - but if i removed too much of em mp would say that i need to reinstall.

any specific file/folder that might be the issue? or a way to get some crashlog?

win7 - i know. but i hate win10 and its appleapproach of treating users like idiots and data-cows. (got a new mainboard/chipset anyways last month, but no time for setting up right now... )
