There is an issue with custom slide objects in Shootmania. The transition between the official slide blocks and custom slide objects made in the mesh modeller is bugged. Even when a slide item or block is created from an official one, the transition between the two bumps you up, when sliding over it. I used the invisible SlidingWood material. Here is a video of it:

Niebo kindly helped me out. The original slide blocks seem to have an invisible hit box slightly above the visual mesh. That hit box isn't visible in the mesh modeller after creating an item or block from them. In the video I created the shape for the slide material from the visual mesh. That's why there is a height difference. Sadly there is very little tolerance for height differences when sliding. That leads to the bump in the video.
