Hey all,

In Materials mode the rectangular selection, by holding and dragging the left mouse button, doesn't behave as expected. Whenever you try to select mesh with it the selection itself works but the mesh isn't highlighted. When clicking on the mesh again normally the selection appears again. If you select a part of the mesh and then hold Ctrl while making a rectangular selection the selection is visible as well and the problem doesn't occur.

1st of all, there is another forum section dedicated to mesh modeler.
2nd, i think i dont really understand your issue but if it is what i think it is, it might be a bug when changing inbetween mods, for example, you went to merge some vertices and edges and clicked on normal tools (without first clicking move or select tool) and went to extrude selection but everything is hidden and tool does nothing. That might be because MM doesnt set to select/move tool when changing inbetween mods. I feel like that wasn't an issue before and appeared with latest update, but i'm not sure, it's definitely something to reproduce and report on forum, if nobody does it, I will in next couple of days.
