Here is a little bit of context. We opened the Nascar program in part to find new players that would be interested in Nascar (and that has been successful, thanks a lot!) and invite them to play on other Nascar servers and to the different events that are organized by the community. This second part, however, has proven a bit more difficult, in particular because there is very little options to promote events and servers on the channel. So far, we have identified two possibilities to "advertise" on the program : via the feedback thread (but this one is so hidden that most people don't know that it exists) and via the splashscreen (but that one generally stays up for only a couple of seconds, so we don't have time to read everything that there is on it, especially if there is a link somewhere. the fact that we haven't updated it since december and no-one complained is kinda proof that nobody reads it)
What would be great if we could publish at regular interval (maybe at the end of the map when people are discussing) some kind of message where we could have actual links to other servers, external websites, discord channels, etc with a small description. (If the channel had a more traditional controller we would have set up some form of server announcements similar to the Promote plugin in ManiaControl) This way, maybe we could increase the visibility of our events toward the targeted audience and players who, new to the game, may not know where, when or who organizes such events.
