Hey i have followed all the steps in the pinned post on steam to get my password reset with no luck. Im pretty angry too as i paid for this game and it worked when i first got it but i haven't been able to play it for years now. I tried to get this sorted many times and wasted a lot of time on it
I enter password it says it is wrong.. it's not
using the website or in game to request a password reset it fails or says i have the wrong email.. I don't
any ideas?

How certain are you that the username/email is correct? I've never had this system fail, so you might be typing the wrong email or username. Contact the Ubisoft support if you're sure you have the right details.

Re: Seeking password reset
user name is saved by the game and the same as my steam name, and i only have one email.. same one that is linked to my steam account that i bought the game with.
i have one crap password i use for all nonsense logins like this in game one.
Pretty shitty having to go to this much effort to get back in to a game i paid for...and hear this never fails. everyone who bought this ages ago on steam got screwed when they changed some login crap years back.. and no one ever bothered to fix it since.

Re: Seeking password reset
I just successfully did a password reset on my test account, so in the grand scheme of things this is likely not a widespread problem.
I can think of 1 thing that could be the case, and that's that you forgot the password to your account when Maniaplanet 4 came out, which required an (automated) account migration. Perhaps your account hasn't migrated yet and therefore the email doesn't get recognized. If that is the case (if you last played the game before May 4th 2017), you could try following these steps:
(Note that I am not able to test if these steps work - I don't have a non-migrated test account - or if this is even the problem you're facing, but if any of the above sounds familiar to you it might be worth trying.)
1. Download the old Maniaplanet 3, extract it somewhere, and run it.
2. Click "Forgot my password" and go through the process there.
3. If it works, and you were able to reset your password there, go back into normal Maniaplanet, and try logging in with the username/password that you have reset it to.
4. It might now tell you that your account is being "migrated" to the new system.
Perhaps I'm completely off and this doesn't work or this isn't the case, in which case you should contact the Ubisoft support.

Re: Seeking password reset
Attention, a Steam account mail is not necessarily the Maniaplanet account mail!
In Maniaplanet you have to setup the mail explicitly in your profile there (being inside of a title like Stadium) and ideally before you lose your credentials.
Probably only the Ubisoft customer support can help here, if you provide them a proof if purchase.
