I've downloaded lots of cars from maniapark, but only a smal percentage of them works ! many just show me the grey default car, can someone help me ?

Some models might need additional skins.
And some models might have been built for older versions of Maniaplanet.

It would be helpful if you could tell which game title you are using, and also provide a link to the models which are not working for you.

Im playing on the latest version of maniaplanet, and on the latest version of TM2.
i found all the models in the ManiaPark website

For me the car works,downloaded and tried..

I can remember in the past was the bug,that when you click on a custom car,it had showed the grey canyoncar,so you had to click on another car,then again on the car you want to drive and repeat this 2-3 times until its shown..
that was a small bug I can remember why that could have happened..
Another reason can be that you haven't been online in the moment of the car selection
..even if you have the car . zip files at your pc. the game still is somehow checking the model.pack.gbx or so with internet connection..
I created new 3d models,putted them on USB stick,showed them my friend on a laptop without internet connection and the cars were just grey canyoncar..
going online and voila,worked..
