It's really frustrating to not find any option regarding the Ghost that appears after creating a personal Record on the TM2 game. I was lucky enough the other day to get a bug where the personal Record ghost disappeared and I've seen a much more consistent result in my times. Unfortunate, that after each successful run I had to reopen the track to get rid of the ghost again, but it was definitely worth it. Now however, after reopening the game on the next day, the ghost is back and I realize why I hated it so much. I really struggle to keep my focus up, especially when there is a Ghost taking away the line that I want to take to improve my Lap Times.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to implement a permanent feature (I hope I'm mistaken) for the Ghost, let me tell you, I don't think it was a good idea. I do like having the Ghost as a feature in the game, as it does sometimes help to rethink the previous lines and take inspiration from them as an improvement, but having it on permanently when actually trying to set the fastest (PB) lap, it's a joke!

Please just tell me there is a way to get rid off this annoying ghost, because it is very infuriating!

Did you already try to press the 'g' key to disable the ghost, and tried the 'o' key that switches between different opponent display modes?
Also check your input settings, key assignments.

In solo play however, it is possible that the ghost cannot be disabled if you're racing against your personal best.
In that case, race against bronze medal, which you should be able to quickly overtake quite earrly

Thanks for the advice with the Bronze Medal, however... the reason I don't race against it, is that I'd like to keep my interval times during the cps for my pb! Personally I don't understand why such feature, which allows a more personalized experience, to be removed!?

I mean it did help a bit, but I am not satisfied with this

what you could also try is to create a local server, there is no choice of opponents, and the ghost can be hidden.

Yeah, I think I'll try that! Thanks for giving me some helpful advice I just hope that this can still be improved in some future update and/or won't be a big problem in the upcoming Trackmania title... This is my favorite game after all for a reason
