Maniaplanet 4.1 Update fails: "Unable to download data"

Hello everyone!

Incentivized by the announcement of a new TrackMania last week I just wanted to play a little TrackMania² Canyon. Unfortunately, however, upon launching the game through Maniaplanet I was prompted to install all the latest updates, which keeps failing with the following error:

Is there any way of fixing this issue?

Some (maybe useful) additional information: my computer is running Windows 10 Professional x64 1909 on an Intel Core i7-3770, 16GB of system memory and an AMD RX580 8GB. I bought TrackMania² Canyon on Steam.

Did you try to retry a few tines?

If you can't make it work,
please save your personal data like maps and skins.
Then uninstall from Steam.

Get the full setup (see links in my signature) and install that.
At the start of Maniaplanet indicate the account you already used with the Steam version (do not create a new account!).

i downloaded that and when i tried to unzip that it shows me that the files are corrupted

then try again, but without download manager, also disable your antivirus (for the time of the download only!).
Also make sure you have enough free disk space on C.
The full setup itself takes several GB, not only for the zip file itself, but also for the unpacking!

Sorry to bump this thread but i got the same problem like the guy in the starting post.

I tried all the solutions people wrote here but none of them worked. I tried to load the FullSetup but it always says, while being extracted, that the full archive is corrupted. When i test it via Winrar it says it's not and i also don't get any warning from my anti virus software nor any indication on why this always happens.

I also wrote to Ubisoft about this and already wait over 2 weeks for news. Likely they can't reproduce my problem either.

Maniaplanet and the titlepacks are the only things i can't download in any way. Other TM titles work 100% and all other games with ingame downloads work as usual so it's just the files from that Maniaplanet Filehoster i can't get

Have you tried the full setup link yet?
Its 5.2 gb but it usually helps when people have issues with the normal download

So i load it. No problems while downloading, no message etc but unpacking it just doesn't work. I tried loading via external managers, via different browsers, no difference. All give me a corrupted archive. rest is mentioned in that quote.

And when you erase all installed files from before and do the full install again?
You will find the files at
C:\Program Files (x86)\ManiaPlanet
C:\ProgramData\ManiaPlanet
and of course user/my documents

And check also your firewall if it aint blocking the extra files when updating the package!
Also send you a pm regarding an upload of the unzipped version!
