I guess he means this:
When you display the maplist ("/list"), PyPlanet gives this list OFC.
Other server controllers provide your rank on the track in the server's DB as well and I seem to remember that once upon a time (FAST maybe) there was commands such as "/list norec" or "/list notfirst".

There are the mapfolders in PyPlanet which provide lists with specific data:
/mapfolders or /mf

are you using the right command? you did not type the same as toffe wrote...
And please tell the pyplanet version you are using... did you update it recently?
Also make sure to be administrator, some commands are not for regular players obviously.
