Axis inverted - no way to change?

Hi
I have tried both a dual action gamepad and a steering wheel (both Logitech) and cannot find a way to invert the axis. This if very frustrating as it should surely be in the options somewhere.
At the moment, the 'up' stick, or the accelerate pedal sends me in reverse!
