Key required for new stations

I have just installed maniaplanet onto new PC after 2.5 years away. I logged into my account and all my previous bought titles and stations were available, although i had to update all titles. Canyon, valley, stadium, lagoon, shootmania along with player titles etc.
I can open stations/titles and join servers and play normal, however i cannot get/load any new titles from the store into empty stations as it asks me to enter a key.
Is this something new? as i didnt have to do this previous. if so where can i find my old key as i thought there were already associatated with my acct when i bought the titles.
Thanks in advance
Cheers

Hi broric

Two things I know of: A game key and a validation code.
Your validation code can be recovered or changed in your Maniaplanet Player page: https://www.maniaplanet.com/account - you need to enter your email address.

Your game key was sent via email when your purchased your first title. [I suspect a validation code will be sufficient to solve your problem.]

The actual login page is: https://www.maniaplanet.com/login, then click on your profile button in the top-tight corner.

Hope this helps mate ... and welcome back! :P

Hey Nighthawk
thanks for your help but unfortunaley Im stuck in a catch 22 here.
while I have access to the same email i used to purchase titles with I no longer have copy of email with any game keys as it was sooo long ago,
So this is now what happens
I go to player page - request validation code using email address- Error msg "Error while sending the mail: There is no mail in the account."
So i open mainiaplanet- login in with my email it tried to use for getting new code,
open my Profile and sure enough there is no email address listed
I enter the same email adresss ive used for mainaplanet for years and should be associated with my acct as i can log in and play
I then get a message " Warning you will only be able to change your email address if you validate your account online. Please enter your validation code in order to validate your account"
So i go back to player page and try to get new Code and enter email address and what do you know "Error while sending the mail: There is no mail in the account"
:roflol:
ARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Damn! Very frustrating.

Looks like you will need to contact Ubisoft Support to resolve this, as they handle player account issues these days. Here's the message I found a while back, buried in the enormous Ubisoft maze:
"AccountSupport@ubi.com is our account support mailing email. Please send us a direct message with your account username and email address"

You could send a pm to Alinoa (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=60) but she usually refers people directly to Ubisoft anyway.

Good luck mate. Cheers. :| ;)

Hi,

nighthaw4571, you are absolutely right :D
And broric, you can contact the Ubisoft support by visiting this website: https://support.ubisoft.com/ :)

Cheers :)

Thanks for trying to help
I just spent better part of an hour chatting with Ubi support and it looks like they cant/wont help me.
"Its a legacy game and theres only so much we can do"
As i dont have a game key I cant get it escalated to the team that handles this.
If i had a key I wouldnt need to have it escalated
If i cant find my keys then I believe the only way to solve the issue is to purchase another title and use that key,
even though i had already associtaed a key with my account.

" It's a legacy game and..." seems a bit lazy to me. After all, they are still happily selling this game.
I assume they have their own record of your purchase, your player login and (surely) your email address.

Anyway, this is going to seem a bit odd but might be worth a try:
* Go to Player page;
* Retrieve validation code; ->
* ->> "If you want a new validation code, you can enter a game key to get a new one." -- Do you have a copy of TMU? Do you still have the box with the user manual? If so, try entering the Game Key from there - see what happens. This may seem stupid but... :? :(

* Could also try the 'Associate game key' section with this.

Are you able to transfer your Maniaplanet folder from previous installation, with the config file at least? Or have your installed your new copy of the game into that same folder - if so, forget this bit.

From here, I'm stuck -- this may be a pointless post -- sorry.

Cheers :pil
