Item on ground : how to avoid vegetation going through ?

Hi,
Well, all is in the title...
I have created ground level items, but once shadows calculated, vegetation is going through... (In the desert, haha...)
So my brand new and shiny item looks like an old abandonned piece of concrete and bitumen.

Ok, not a big deal, but is there a way to avoid this ?

To do that, simple take the default road block and erase it's whole body.
Same works in Canyon, obviously.

Or you create blocks which have their surface above the grass.

Yes, this does work with "blocks", but not with "items", even if created from standard blocks.

The mesh i'm doing can't be a block, because even if i use the standard road mesh, i must get rid of the structures around ( the concrete ramps on each sides, particularly, for every ground block ). And i must keep the road at its original position, because the item is meant to connect to standard blocks.

So i thought about creating an underneath mesh that would prevent the grass from appearing, like a hole, or water, i don't know... Anyway i didn't find a way to do so.

the other only solution would be to use a no-grass mod.

you could use this item and place it on the block

I have the problem, that the nograss mod doesn't work always for me..

Well, actually the "void block" suggested earlier is there exactly for that!
Of course this only works if you can cover the whole void block surface with items, e.g. road items.
Otherwise there will be weird lighting effects (like full brightness).

Hello,
Sorry for the late answer, i definetly won't get notifications... And thanks for yours.
I will try the Void Block trick. I though it could not work because i always see roads as Race Road, from which you can't delete the structure. I never use the "small" roads, because i'm too bad a driver and don't like them, haha.
Anyway, in the meanwhile i found out that Slayer's Floorblox works for this. I guess they're based on the same trick.
Would have been nice to have this integrated in the Item, but well, it's nice to have a solution.
