CLOSED [TM2] [Controller] 360 dpad for steering not working

so, the dpad works 100% in the menus, but trying to assign the dpad left/right to steer doesnt work/pick up ont he keystrokes.

also, how do you remove a key assignment? the only work around i have found is to assign more than 3 other keys to that action, however this doesn't work for the analogue settings meaning my (fucked) 360 controller always steers left

any ideas?

i know its in Beta, but this kind of thing should be fixed while in development! the UI is just horrible!
