[TM2] Screen Goes Black When Entering Servers

I have this realy nasty problem with TM2.
In an average of 9 out of 10 times I try to enter a server to play the screen goes black, stays black for like 5 minutes then a message pops saying I was disconected and Im forwarded to the main menu again.
When this doesnt happen either the screen stays black for 2 or 3 minutes and then refreshes and allows me in or I simply enter with no problem... this last option is very rare.
Im runing an Asus G73 Laptop, I have no problem runing the game fully maxed and I should not have a problem like this, but Ive searched and seems Im the only one with this issue cause I cant find anyone with the same problem.
How can I fix this?
Think I posted on the wrong section the first time around.

Could you tell us your configuration please ? (graphic card, processor, RAM) and join the ManiaPlanetLog/CrashLog when the screen goes black (you can find it in My Documents => ManiaPlanet)

So this is what I got when I try to enter any server.
Get this screen for a few minutes with no loading bar on the bottom right corner:

Then after a few minutes I get this prompt:

Some of our users have been having similar issues. The only thing I'm seeing in common is their ISP - BT (British Telecom)
I've got packet captures from
both ends - server and client - so if someone from Nadeo fancies taking a look, send me a PM
(I will not make these publically available because I have no freaking clue how the protocol works, and for all I know someone might be able to do some kind of replay attack and join as my friend)
Note that we've tried a variety of different ports on the server in case their ISP has an issue with the default one... 2350, 22350, 32350, and even port 80. I also firewalled one specific user from UDP, in the hope that TCP mode might work better. No dice :/

Well, at least now I'm not feeling alone on this. So far seemed like I was the only one with the issue.
Hope they fix it soon 'cause its mighty annoying...

this fixed the problem for our users:

even if you aren't using a BT homehub, it might be worth disabling any "security" / anti-DOS / "firewall" features in your router, for testing purposes if nothing else
