TM2 crashes whenever I have my microsoft sidewinder joystick plugged in. Although I was able to play a race or two with it and prefer it, using the keyboard is much more stable. Will there be better joystick support in the future?

Maybe a problem from your drivers.

I have the same problem with my microsoft force feedback 2 joystick.
Every time i use it the game freezes.

Since this is a Microsoft product the drivers are built into Windows 7 and have worked fine for TrackMania United

If you own a Xbox 360 controller, use that. It works perfectly.
