Hey, I was always wondering: would it be nice to have the possibility to drive in the rain or fog? The possibility to drive in night is already fun, but I think rain or fog would also be awesome. And it doesn't have to affect the way of driving (such as more slippery roads, makes it more difficult and annoying to drive).

Nice idea?

I've thought of that, and has figured out that there has to be some difficulty with that. If it wasn't, it would probably already be implemented into a previous game.

There is a nice rain mod for TMN, that looks quite good.
I don't know if there is one that has been made for TMF, but as that game renders better it should look awfully realistic.
It's quite easy to make in fact, it's just some images of rain drops sliding down the screen, some flashes here and there and a modded sky and road surface, but it's convincing.

Well Nadeo could just make this mod as a normal option when you are building the track then, that would work

I was thinking of this too, even wind! So you could choose how strong wind you want to have too. Everything from a gentle breeze to full storm so you see the trees swings, and waves in the water

Maybe a strong storm to affect the car's driving.

Or a PF track where the wind just blows the car around

That could be fun...

could be nice... but anyway i dont think they will do something that affect the driving or performance(as said in main post here).

And if you combine wind with rain you get a nice storm with rain going sideways etc.. would be really cool
