Hey guys. I came across a website where you can download car models for TrackMania 2.
Once i downloaded the zip file and put it in the CanyonCar folder, and then start up the game, you do not see the model at all. It is just a weird paintjob on a standard model.

Is there something i need to do before all this?
Can someone please explain how to import new car models into the game?

Editor/Manage Packs....add your zip file name, create pack. Go to Vehicles and hopefully it's there

i did what you said. but all i get is a messed up car skin.

In this video he is doing the same thing as i do. But it only fails with me.

yes i beleave you are wrong i have seen a few people ingame trackmania2 canyon racing with forumla F1 cars i have also seen a youtube video on it also not a video to import or make the car but racing with it

you can't take old models from carpark (or others websites ), new models will come soon and i already released a suzuki escudo on http://www.maniapark.com

Just to be sure. Are modified cars in Multiplayer allowed?
Or will you get banned?

I know you used to be able to as I used to do it myself. The only videos I can find were all posted BEFORE the beta 4 update. The makers are however, trying to make it possible again

no, you won't get banned mate ... am working on doing the custom neon at the moment

And if people find a way to change the handling of a car?

I mean if you look at GTA, it is pretty darn easy to make your car faster ect.
I'm totally new to trackmania so i dont know if this is a problem here at all.
