[TM2] Connection - Official Times

Someone please help me, i am logged in, can play, can do everything, except official races.
Timer is down to 0:00, i hit start on my controller, and what does TM2 do?
Hell yeah, says "Please try again later", no other info, just try again, i try again, and again, later again, and again later.
nothing happens, someone seen this before?
