cannot connect to the server (12029)

I just purchased TM2 downloaded and installed and can't connect to it online. I've followed the help guides in the forum for setting hosts file. I'm not running any hardware or software firewalls. I can ping the game servers without a problem. I can play any other online game problem fine.

I emailed support.maniaplanet.en@gamesplanet.com for tech support and they told me to email support@nadeo.com so I emailed support@nadeo.com and they told me to email support.maniaplanet.en@gamesplanet.com for tech support.

4 days later I still can't connect :(

Can anyone help?

I'm getting...

1) checking the connection to master game server

2) cannot connect to the server (12029)

3) You are not online
you will need to be able to connect to an account to use all the game features
connect or stay offline button

4) click connect

5) Press Ok to retry connection

6) Unable to load trackmania canyon
you must connect once to maniaplanet server to activate, aquire or update this title

7) could not install or update titles files

8) This title insn't playable

Have you try to make this ?

Then put this file in editable mode (right click on this file => uncheck the hut read-only).
You need to remove these ligns (if it appears)

You save your new files and recheck the hut read-only.


Now try to connect to ManiaPlanet.
