[TM2] Crashes - Problem With Nvidia Drivers
Posted: 27 Sep 2011, 20:01
Upon each startup of Maniaplanet I get the message "Your video card performance has not been found. A quick benchmark will be preformed."
After agreeing to the check I get a popup warning saying "Your video adaptor's (NVIDIA GeForce 310M) driver is outdated(1.0.2.0). This game works better with driver version 6.14.10.5303 (or a more recent one)." It then goes on to explain how to update your drivers.
After hitting ok on that warning, the test starts but all i get out of it is a blank white window, then shortly after my video drivers crash and recover themselves but this leaves the maniaplanet unresponsive. Then it will tell me that it "Could not retrieve your graphic device preformance. Automatic graphic quality may be inadequate."
After this i'm given the option to play or change settings but nothing i've tried will let the game get past a blank white window.
This would all be fine if my drivers were out of date, but i'm running driver version 280.26, the newest driver for my card.
My system specs are: Intel Core i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz, 4gb ram, NVIDIA GeForce 310M, 64bit Windows 7
As far as I can tell no other display drivers are causing problems so any help on this would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
