I want to return back to beta music, I hate the new one!

Anyone know how to change it?

I tried to put original music in media\musics\menu in user folder but it work only offline

What if you rename it to the original?

The music is located at a zip file from updates folder, i tried to remplace it but it automaticly update to the original music

Since the game is connected to the masterserver every time you go online...I see no solution.

Since the game has barely been released for a month, it's possible there is a solution but no one has found it yet -- since it is definitely very different from the system in TMUF.
I would be very surprised if there isn't at least a way to add additional menu songs -- especially because the adding of your own default in-race music was given so much more attention this time around.

Ooh I want to hear this Beta music, I wasn't aware that they changed it. Is there anywhere I can listen to it? Is it just the menu or the race music too?

Also, this new system so far seems to be quite inconvenient, with everything randomly sorted into different zip files of all different sizes and such. And if I understand what you're saying, nothing can be changed inside these zip files? I'm not sure what's wrong with just putting it all into organized folders like TrackMania United did...

The Beta menu music was just one of the songs that's in-race now. If you've extracted the ogg files it's Canyon3.ogg.

The in-race music was the same in the beta as it is now.

Ah I see, I was hoping it was a song I hadn't heard yet .

Anyway, to fix the problem you're having... I suppose you could put 20 copies of the beta menu song into the "...\ManiaPlanet\Media\Musics\Menu\" folder. Then at least you'd have only a small chance of it playing the music it has now... But it's sort of a "hack job" method .

EDIT: Woops, disregard that, I forgot you said you already had tried that. Why does this only work offline?? Is this a glitch? I used to have every TrackMania game's menu-music in there when I played United...
