I've not seen anyone posting a tech question here so i hope i dont post it the wrong place

As you know the beginning part of the map is straight,with a jump,and according to common sense,just push forward to go fastest.

But I found the world record replays goes even faster at the straight part than my pushing forward strategy,they overpass me at start and get even greater speed after the jump.My best record is 18.48,but world record can get 18.3x

so could anyone help to explain what is the trick behind this?

If you brake or steer (not sure which still works) during the countdown and release it at the right moment you gain a minor boost. Its a bug which was greatly reduced with release and now C03 is the only track where you can still notice it.

I heard that it was cancelled with the official release,anyway I'll try it later,thanks for reply

I (hope I) have the inofficial world record, 18.33, that only works with the mentioned start boost and when you press the brake slightly just before the first ramp ends. This causes you to land earlier on the next ramp and that gives you more speed

so the burst still works,but i feel now it's harder to success.It explains why world records overpass me at the start but it doesn't explain their boost after the jump when they landed.I noticed that during the jump the head of their car leans slightly more forward than my car,which seems to offer a softer landing and .How did they do this?

as I wrote in my last post, you have to brake for a very short time before the ramp ends in order to land earlier.
