Wel ik vind de ingebouwde editor nog al vrij lastig om mee te werken? Dus was mijn vraag of er een andere mogelijkheid was om de editor te gebruiken? Of skins te editten in bijvoorbeeld Photoshop?

Sorry for answering in English since I can't write Dutch.

Yes it is possible to paint the cars with another application than with the built-in painter.

You need DDS import/export for your paint tools. From nVidia there is e.g. such a plugin, which works with Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.

There is also a tutorial how to do this in some sticky thread.
If you do a search on ManiaPark you will find it easily, since this method has not changed since TMUF.

The only thing you have to do is:
- start Car Painter
- Make a clean skin, e.g. with white color
- Save this under a new file
- Open Windows Explorer where you have your documents
- unzip the skin files
- etc. (see tutorials on ManiaPark)
