ManiaPlanet Network Check

I just finished installing the game and I can not get it working. When I start the game it says ManiaPlanet Network Check and it does nothing, I can't click on 'OK' either. I have been waiting for about half an hour with the Network Check running in the background, nothing happens. Anybody knows how to fix this? I also tried re-installing and that didn't work either.

If you aren't connected in internet, you can launch the game without this freeze?

See if Internet Explorer isn't in offline mode and maybe try to put IE in the default navigator.

The problem fixed itself for me. Suddenly I was able to click OK when the window popped up.
