I just bought Trackmania 2 and installed it. However when creating my account it asks for the key which will be send to my emaiol in several hours? This means I just bought a game I cant play? Even offline mode needs me to be logged in online once. So I cant play offline either.

In the first email it says to prevent fraud an extra check is needed to validate my order. I just paid online with iDEAL. Is paying with iDEAL not secure enough?

Is there any way to speed up this process ? I would really like to receive the key and play

You need to connect online one time for play offline after.

I am curious what kind of verification process this is? Why is sending out keys not automated so I can enjoy my purchase right away ?

I don't know really but I think it's to avoid websites to buy some keys and sell them after more expensive.
