[problems] with video ripping

Hey guys

I have tried video ripping in TM2 a few times without success. I used WINDOWS MEDIA CODEC because it worked well with TM Forever. If that's wrong, tell me a better option. I have Vista 32bit.

Take one: the settings that TM2 had as standard:
- game just crashed when I started it

Take two: the settings that TM2 had as standard:
- video works fine, quality is good
- it's sloooow, like slow-mo'd
- the video length seems to be as it should be (57 sec replay and video is 57 seconds long), but when I open it in WMP or Winamp, it takes over 5 minutes to finish the video
- in settings video fps is 60, winamp says it's 10 while watching (6x slower?)

Take three: using the settings that I used in TM Forever:
- 1280x720, 25x anti-aliasing, motion blur on
- the video goes crazy, everything is extreme bright and the colors are not the same
- I didn't even finish the video because the start looked mad

Take four: some changes
- 1280x720, 4x anti-aliasing, motion blur on
- everything goes fine but the video lags
- = in some parts it goes very fast and in some parts it almost stops

Nevertheless, my TM crashes every third time when I open a track or a replay etc and it always crashed while computing shadows. I am totally pissed of with this game and that's why I haven't played it at all for months, excluding TWL0. Should I try re-install or something or doesn't the game just work? Am I the only one with these stupid problems?

Did you try a different codec?

I also have problems when try to render shadows high quality, probably because not enough hardware power. Try a short video render with medium shadows or with a lower resolution.
Also is a good idea try other video codecs. I use h.264 codec and a litlle lower fps (to get a smaler file)
If you dont have problems with the same settings renderind TM forever videos, I think that the problem must be the computer requeriments
