Maniaplanet Forum

Earlier today i bought Trackmania 2, everything went well until i tried to start it. I start Maniaplanet and press play and nothing happens it just loads for a few seconds and then... nothing. After trying to get it working by restarting the computer and then when that did not work i uninstalled it and reinstalled it it was still the same way. After a while i Cntrl+Alt+Del and see that a a process called Maniaplanet is running and this is the only proof of its existance in the computer... Have anyone else had this problem? And if so how do i fix it?

I have searched the forum and havent found anyone with the same problem (but then again i maby missed it). And excuse me for any bad english it is not my native tongue but i think the larger english community will be a better place to find some help to this problem.

Try to make a internet shortcut with maniaplanet:/// and start the game with this.

Else try to reinstall DirectX, Net Framework and Visual C++.

I have had the same issue when i click on the desktop icon it loads and i press play... but then crashes how do i fix it?????

Can you give your computer specification and the crashlog in Documents/ManiaPlanet/Crashlogs

I have the same, but for Shootmania is that counts

PC specs are
AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1100T Processor 3.30 GHz
4GB ram
32-Bit Operating System
AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series
and there isnt a Crashlog there

Look at the task manager: is maniaplanet.exe running ?
Check your firewall settings.

Yes... whatever title you want to play, maniaplanet is still the same platform to launch.

Is processes, yes it does say that maniaplanet.exe is running, but nothing and showing up
and for my firewall, what would i do if that was the problem?
