Sliding function not working properly

For quite some time I've been playing TM2. I'm starting to get to a level with more competition.

However, there is one 'bug' prohibiting me from getting good times at some maps. I am using a Keyboard, and when I keep pushing the throttle (up key), hit the brake key (down key) and steer right (right key) I start sliding without a significant speed loss.
When I do the same, but now to the left (left key), it does not go into a slide, not does it want to steer to the right. This means that I have to lift the throttle, then brake, steer and throttle again, losing valuable time.

Is there any way to fix this, or is there a fix excepted in a patch in the near future?

It is probably just your keyboard that has problems with accepting actions of 3 so close-by keys. And its also easier to do it if you set your brake button another place,I do for example play with it on "Q".

As Weeeeee said, it's be a problem of your keyboard. Have the same here and simply attached the brake to another button (e.g. ctrl for me).

Thanks for the comments!

I guess it'll require some training to get used to it, but if it works it'll do. I'll try it tonight.
