But why the name?

I don't know for sure, but "latitude" often means giving someone a lot of freedom to do what they want. You're giving them a lot of "latitude".

Freestyle would seem to embody that freedom.

incredible video. this made my day, and then my week. i have watched it everyday for the past several days and it just keeps getting better. the best stunt for me is the flip at ~3:14, green car, (maniamaster? i think?). but super awsome work on the video.
