I don`t know what`s the feelings or opinion among the other customers of Nadeo about support. But my initial feelings and observation are that they don`t care much.... I read several post in this official forum with specific questions about problems with absolutely no response from Nadeo at all.... I my self, posted lately some specific problems about the game in one tread and a suggestions in another tread with no response from Nadeo at all. This concerns me. because I`m a lover and promoter of this game for the last 2 years. (TMNF first, and now TM2) It`s actually occupying a lot of my time as my main hobby.... and i make my kids, my grandkids, my GF, and her family, involved in this.... As a buyer and user of other software, I never experience this level of negligence of customers. As a user of different kind of software with a user forum, the devs always respond to questions... But here in Mania Planet it seems to be based on other users response... It seems for me as a buyer and as a user of this software, I need to relay on other users response, in an official user forum ! ! ! It should not be like that. You sell a software, you should give support for that software. Is this to much to expect ???? Am I wrong??? Do I expect to much ???? Ok, if you mean im wrong, name for me other software or games, where the customers cannot expect any support from the developer, and are just happy about it ! ! !

Plz, dear racing mates, and buyers of this awesome racing game, if u feel the same way as me, post ur comments or concern here, so that Nadeo, as a good company, can know, that I`m not the only one feeling this way....

Me also loved to customize a lot in TMNF, and also all my racing mates at home, my kids, grandkids, GF, brother of GF, a.s.o., but sadly, now Nadeo have put this digital signature as a limitation to how much we can customize. and where from you got that Nadeo doesn't read forums? as stated many times already, they read everything, they just don't have enough time to answer in every thread.

about customization: well, everything had been said in topic on MX.

I don't believe they stopped caring. They may have just bit off a bit more than they could chew for the start of MP.

After ManiaPlanet 2.0 and SM Storm are released, I would guess that the level of interaction we see from Nadeo team members in the forums will return to the level we are used to seeing in the past.

Your question about the ability to modify the game's default textures is a valid one, although it's just one of many questions other users have raised.

A possible solution though, at least in the short term:

Did you know there is a plugin for servers that allows you to force a certain mod for all tracks? So you could set up your own server (or pay for one to be hosted by one of the many hosting services users are offering) and change the mod periodically. Any tracks you play on the server will have the texture mod applied to them.

Unfortunately, TM lovers will have to wait at the moment as others games (SM & QM) are being developed. It's just a waiting game and we'll get it eventually so chin up.

I dont know what is EA games and TDU2, but I know what is torrent, and u cannot compare support for CRACKS with support for legally obtained games....
And I`m not claiming that Nadeo not read the forums, just that I observe they does not respond to specific questions.....

Woow ! Cool... Were do i get that one ? Could maybe works as a temporary "workaround" until Nadeo hopefully eventually include an option to change default mod on personal level....And i did not know that... Why, btw, did u not mention about that option in the tread about it on MX ?

Oh yeah, i`ll wait patiently for it...... And in the waiting time, I`ll race and enjoy my heart out, with or without mods......See yah in the tracks guys !

Well, if u mean thats everything there is to say about this problem, then Buckys advice "ManiaPlanet forums are the place to take this if you really want to see them change it" was worthless, witch I personally dont think....

After getting the Dedicated Server, you'll need to either get FAST or Xaseco2. To be honest, I've never run Xaseco2. I've only used FAST, and I've never used the ForceMod plugin which is actually still for the old version of FAST (for TMUF). You'd have to ask someone more knowledgable about Xaseco if there's a plugin that would do the same thing, though I'm sure there is. In fact, as I recall... the WTC server here in TM2 actually ran some sort of ForceMod plugin on their server.

Sorry I can't be of more help with setting it up, but maybe it'll get you started in the right direction.

I didn't think of it back then. Plus, I think I got a little sidetracked in that thread about the actual moral implications of changing the files or applying a mod to someone elses track. I still don't agree with it 100%, but not strongly enough to hold back from telling you information on how to do it.
