Customizing 3D model

Hello there,
As we know in TM1 for each environment we are able to pick up one car model with certain painting on it. It's good, but if I want to do any change in apperance of car I have to download or create new 3D model with it.
What about creating eye-candy stuff without need of quitting from the game?
The stock car could be customized with ready subsets of:
- rims,
- spoilers,
- bonnets, etc.
Of course it would not affect gameplay in any way. Customization would concern only "original" car. If player would select custom 3D model there would have been no options to change the apperance of the car.
The profits are wider personalisation of your car and no need of downloading the model from the internet/p2p when playing.
Comment :)

Like tunning? Doesn't look so bad, but I think it won't be easy to implement...

I prefer just the painting. But maybe won't be a bad idea.
Though, i doubt this will be in the game

+ It's a good feature (to be written on the box) for non-TM players who are interested in visual tuning. It might accract wider audience (eg. NFS players). It would be great not only to create the tracks but also your own car.

Why is TM constantly compared to NFS? They're not even close to the same game... :? *confused*

I think it would be cool if you could also download body kits for cars that have been made by people, from sites like car park. That would make cars seem more unique any way.
