Hello,

So im enjoying the game so far but, i have a problem. When i go in to mediatracker and i pick cameracustom for some reason the camera moves by itself. How do you make it stay in the same position? The settings i use are:

For target and anchor i use none because i dont want my camera to be locked onto a car. And Anchor Vis + Anchor Rot.

If there is something wrong please tell.

Greetings,

Simon

I am not experienced with the mediatracker neither, but if you just want a static camera shot, don't place the camera track first. Move the camera with you right mousebutton and the arrowkeys as you like. THEN add the camera track. This always works for me and it shouldn't be moving then. If it does, the keys (little yellow squares) at the beginning and the end of the camera track have different values.

I hope this helps, if not you can also read this article in the wiki.

You mean that you have none of this checked?
If you want the camera to stay at the same place all the time, make sure the last keyframe is exactly like the first frame. 2nd frame does usually go back to the original point of view.
Click on the 2nd keyframe, hold ctrl while you click on the 1st keyframe to copy and paste the key properties.
Now you should have 2 equal keyframes which makes the camera stand still

If your problem isn't solved yet, have a look at this, it might help!
Jikap wrote:From what I can guess at, what's happening is that the camera doesn't think in just 360 degrees, it also remembers how many times you've spun the camera while making the other keyframes. This often results in it having to make a 1080 degree spin or such between the 2nd last keyframe & the end of the block, which would also make it act weird from the 3rd last keyframe when it starts building momentum for the last bit.

For an easier fix, select the last keyframe, and hold ctrl while clicking the 2nd last keyframe. This will copy all of the numbers from the 2nd last keyframe to the last keyframe without having to type it inn, and you can re-position it from there.

Alternatively, all you have to fix / copy is the Pitch, Yaw & Roll numbers.
Which will copy the direction the camera faces without changing position or zoom. :)
